The Joel Toller Team

Hello, friends --

It's hard to believe that 2016 is coming to a close soon!  There have been many highlights: the formation of the new Joel Toller Team and creation of the website; my best year in real estate since I began almost 18 years ago; and a move for my wife, Lisa, and I.  Yes, we know all too well what it is like to buy, sell, rent, and navigate all the ups and downs of a major remodel.  We're looking forward to spending Christmas in our new home and to finally unpack the boxes we've had in storage for 6 months.

Although this has been a year of change for so many of us, my gratitude for friends and family, the beautiful Napa Valley, our wonderfully diverse country, and the men and women who serve to protect our freedom, will never change.

On behalf of the entire Joel Toller Team, we wish you health, happiness and peace throughout the holidays and in the New Year!

Cheers,

Joel

Real Estate Roundup

(as of November 20, 2016)

  • The median sales price has increased from last year with an average sales price of $1,514,990.
  • The average number of properties on the market has continued to decrease.
  • The average number of days properties are on the market has decreased from last report.

It is still a good time to sell based on the statistics -- prices are up, inventory is down, price per square foot is high and days on the market has decreased. As always, I'm happy to provide a free market analysis of your property.  Please contact me for a consultation. My opinion is that the market is going to slow down based on the increase in interest rates and the uncertainty with the results in the election…...stay tuned!

What’s New?

The Joel Toller Team is a strong supporter of many community and local programs. In this newsletter, we want to bring special attention to Sunrise Horse Rescue and their recent fundraiser. This well-orchestrated benefit allows Sunrise to continue their valiant efforts in rescuing neglected and abused horses and furthering this very worthy cause.

Sunrise Horse Rescue Event Reins in $154k:

Sunrise Horse Rescue raised $154,000 at its Harvest of Hope Fundraiser at Tamber Bey Vineyards on Saturday, November 5, 2016.  This was a record amount for Sunrise, a local nonprofit horse rescue and sanctuary, which currently has 26 horses under its care. Sunrise Horse Rescue’s mission is to provide sanctuary for abused and neglected horses in Napa and surrounding counties and provide community members of all ages with life-enhancing experiences derived from horsemanship.  In addition, Sunrise also offers natural horsemanship training classes, youth educational experiences, and numerous volunteer opportunities.  Donations are needed as the average cost of caring for a horse is approximately $8,000/year.
